1927 ~ 2012 Anna was born 14 July 1927 at Elwood, Utah to Carl Theodore Romer and Valborg Franzine Nelson. She died July 9, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was raised on the farm learning the value of hard work and responsibility. She received her education in the Box Elder County Schools. She attended Utah State Agricultral College US University graduating in 1949 with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for 38 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a firm testimony of its truthfulness serving many callings on the ward and stake levels. She also served on a stake mission. She took a class in Junior Geneology and was an avid worker the rest of her life.
She met the love of her life Lowell James Christensen. They were married for time and eternity on 3 August 1962 in the Logan Temple. He died in 1977. She then married Vernal P. Goodey, he died. She is survived by three stepchildren and many step-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters – Luella Ruth Romer, Elma Larsen, Joyce Hansen, and much loved nieces and nephews, and grand and great-grandnieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her patents, husbands, sister Frances Petersen, and brother Carl Odell Romer.
A service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, 14 July 2012 at the Nelson Funeral Home, viewing one hour prior to service, 162 East 400 North, Logan, Utah,. Interment: Clarkston City Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com
