Tremonton – Our dear mother, Ann Bernice Anderson Andersen Henrie, passed away April 23, 2011, at her son Ron's home. She was born July 9, 1920, in Thatcher, Utah, to Roy C and Rosella Davis Anderson. She learned hard work early in life growing up on a farm. She was the oldest of her siblings and loved helping her mom and dad.
She married Stanley H. Andersen March 3, 1944, in the Logan LDS Temple and served a mission with him in Pennsylvania. They had many wonderful adventures together, serving as Ward and Stake Dance Directors until Stan's death August 25, 1989. She married Wynn Henrie March 16, 1996. She enjoyed his friendship, companionship and his children. He passed away March 29, 2001.
She has served in many positions of leadership in her ward and served for over 68 years as ward organist. She enjoyed keeping busy making baby quilts for the humanitarian center. She volunteered at the Bear River Valley Hospital as a Pink Lady. She loved to spend time with her family; they have been her true source of happiness and joy.
Her children are Glenna Scott Maughan, Anita Rick Badgett, Lana Walt Egan, Ron L. Kathleen Andersen, Myrna Jeff Kent and Marlon Vala Andersen. She has 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Surviving is a sister, LuDene and a brother Alma. She is preceded in death by brothers Kenneth and William R Bill. The family would like to especially thank the Hospice for their love and care; the Fulgham family her home teachers and her special porch friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 28, 11:00 am at Tremonton 5th Ward, 300 South Tremont St., Tremonton. Family and friends may visit Wednesday 6:00-8:00 pm at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, and at the church Thursday 9:30-10:40 am prior to services. Interment will be in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
