Anita Budge was born in Jackson Hole Wyoming on October 24, 1944. She was the third daughter of Archie Lee and June Bruce Budge. She joined two sister, Nona and Helen and kept both of them loving and spoiling her the rest of her life.
Anita attended elementary, junior high, and high school in Logan. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught special education in Logan and later taught 4th grade in California.
She married Bruce Brown on July 20, 1973 in the Logan Temple. Bruce preceded her in death in 2000.
Anita excelled in organizational skills. She organized the library at her ward, cataloging pictures and instructional materials. She was complimented on her outstanding work.
Anita was a secretary at the psychology department at Utah State for many years. When she finally retired they replaced her with three women.
Perhaps her greatest characteristic was her generosity. All who knew her could never give her more than they received.
Friends and family enjoyed visiting her home. She spent thousands of dollars buying decorations for each month of the years. She has more than 150 large totes filled with these decorations.
She also had a great passion for her many cats. She is probably loving and spoiling them right now!
Anita is survived by her two sisters, Nona Whipple, Las, Vegas, Nevada and Helen Rogers, Hesperia, California and many nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her especially her family and friends. We will always remember you, Anita, until eternity brings us together again.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to Legacy House Branch Presidency (Ron Rhees) and Hospice, Hayden Neering and the Staff at Legacy.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017 at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel, 162 East 400 North, Logan. As per Anita' request there will be no public viewing. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at
