Angelita Cruz

Tremonton, UT – Angelita Cruz "Nana", 67, passed away Monday, April 20, 2009. She was born May 31, 1941 to Roberto Cruz and Juanita Perez in Lytle, TX. She moved to Utah in 1970 and lived in Tremonton. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, embroidery, washing dishes and caring for elderly women. She was a member of Santa Ana Parish of the Catholic Church. Surviving are her son, Jeff Monica and three grandchildren: Avery, Gavin and Audrey with one on the way. Also surviving are her brothers: Lassaro Rosalba, Bernardo, Roberto Jr., Benito, and Paulo; her sisters, Lupe, Alexandra, Maria Leobardo Hernandez, Francis; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Angelita was loved by many and will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her partner, Glade Wells, brothers: Juan and Geranamo, sister, Dominga and sister-in-law, Frances.
A mass will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 11:00 a.m. at Santa Ana Catholic Church, 760 West 600 North, Tremonton. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Rosary will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. during the visitation. Interment will be at the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
