Amanda 'Mandy' Jean Smith

December 8, 1986 — October 11, 2008

Mandy, 21, was reunited with her Heavenly Father on October 11, 2008, after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
She was born on December 8, 1986, to Bonnie Hickox and Richard Rick Smith in the Logan Regional Hospital.
Mandy lived her whole life in Logan, Utah. She attended all of her schooling in Logan, Utah where she graduated from high school in May, 2005.
Mandy had her first and only child, Hayden Joshua Smith on March 15, 2005, at the University Hospital in Salt Lake. He was the pride of her life.
Six months later, Jeremiah Westley Dickey came into her life and on October 4, 2008, at the Logan Regional Hospital, he made her other wish come true. They exchanged vows to each other to Love and Care for one another.
Mandy is survived by her son, Hayden Joshua Smith, the love of her life, Jeremiah, parents: Bonnie Hickox, Rick and Valeria Smith, 2 brothers, Shane Smith Val, and Brandon Smith MaryLynn and a sister Raye Lynn Mendez Bernardo, her grandmothers Alice Perish and Marian Elwood. Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be missed by all of them.
She was preceded in death by her older baby brother Chad, Grandparents; Bill Hickox, Delbert and Afton Smith, Pier Perish, Kenneth Elwood, Aunt Nila, Aunt Wendy, and Uncle Steven.

Condolences may be extended online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
We would like to take this time to thank the C.F. clinic at the University Hospital in Salt Lake, Dr. Avery and his staff, the Logan Regional Hospital ICU unit and Respiratory Therapists for making Mandy as happy and comfortable as possible.
In lieu of flowers there had been a trust fund provided in her name at Zions Bank. God saw Mandy hurting, a cure not meant to be,
So he wrapped his arms around her
And said "Come With Me"
