Alyce Faye Buckley Sisson

Alyce Faye Buckley Sisson, 66, passed away peacefully Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Logan Regional Hospital. She was born March 10, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho to Delbert Clarence Buckley and Emma Lucille Robinson. She spent her growing years near Idaho Falls, Idaho, attending and graduating from the local schools. She married Charles E. Sisson on September 12, 1964. Alyce and Charles spent their married years in Leavenworth, Kansas, where they had three children: Teryl, Gary and Lary. Charles passed away on July 16, 1978. After retiring, Alyce moved to Utah in order to be closer to her children, grandchildren and parents. She resided in Providence, Utah at the time of her death. She loved to cook, but she especially loved music and singing. She also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She was an active member of the Providence 4th Ward in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her three children: Teryl Zollinger, Declo, Idaho; Gary Sisson, Providence, Utah; Lary Sisson, Arco, Idaho; a sister Tena Fagenstrom and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Providence 4th Ward Chapel, 155 North 100 East, with Bishop Scott Olson conducting. Friends and family may call at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Declo, Idaho Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Condolences may be extended to the family online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com .
