Alice Mello Nelson

Tremonton, Utah ? Alice Mello Nelson, 84 passed away Friday, October 27, 2006. She was born September 9, 1922 in Bolinas, California to John Forgaco Mello and Mary Perry. She married J. Glen Nelson July 14, 1942 in Verdi, California.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, scrap booking and traveling. People traveled miles for the great taste of her home grown tomatoes. She was a member of Santa Ana Catholic Church.
Surviving are her children: Roger Gloria Nelson, Tremonton; Bernie Utana Nelson, Tremonton and Debra Ted Roundy, Brigham; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren with one on the way and two great, great grandchildren; her brothers: Joe, John and Dave Mello.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Marion and brother, Frank.
A Vigil Service will be held Monday, October 30, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Family and friends may call until 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry?s Catholic Church, 380 South 200 East, Brigham.
Interment at Elwood Cemetery.
