Alice L. Hardman Logan, Utah: Alice Richards Liddell Hardman, passed away quietly in her sleep Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Sunshine Terrace. She was born in Camyle, Scotland on January 4, 1928, the youngest daughter of Robert and Margaret Richards Liddell. Alice was raised on 39 Gardenside Crescent Street, Carmyle, Glasgow, Scotland. There she lived until WW II. At a USU dance she met a yank, PFC Harvey Pierce Hardman. They were married on January 4, 1944 and were blessed with four children; Margaret, Margene, LaVon and Lynn. Alice enjoyed the outdoors, trailoring Camping, fishing and warm campfires. She loved to bowl and was in the wonen's bowling leagues. She loved to play games with her family and cards with her friends. Her sister Eva moved to the U.S. a few years after Alice and they were never far apart. Alice is survived by one child, Harvey Lynn Hardman, Logan, Utah. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Her sister, Eva and brother, Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Margaret, LaVon and Margene; her husband Harvey and sibling Harold. There will be a viewing on Sunday evening, November 11 from 6-8 pm at the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan and also prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13.
