Eva Aileen Munk Preece 86, died November 29, 2010 of causes related to age. She was born on March 20 1924, daughter of Harvey L Munk and Eva Kirkbride. She married Orlando K Preece on July 1, 1942 in the Logan Temple. Aileen belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various positions within the church, but his favorite was working with the young kids in Primary and nursery. She grew to love many of them and still shares a strong bond with them. Aileen will be remembered as a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a good friend to everyone that knew her. Aileen will always be remembered as a great cook. Aileen loved her work in the hot lunch program in both the Cache and Logan school districts. She made many close friends, but really loved visiting with the young children. She also enjoyed a good horse ride in the scenic mountains of Cache Valley. She is survived by two sisters, Loree Downs and Lucinda Hansen both of Smithfield and 6 children, RoAnna Falslev, America Fork, Karen Allan Housley, Plain City, Sherwood Carolyn Preece, Murray, Lynnette Hale, Las Vegas, Michael Preece, Deceased, Lindsey Sherri Preece, Hyrum, Gay Lynne Reed Child, West Point; 19 grandchildren and 58 great grandchildren, with two more on the way. The Preece family would like to thank the Williamsburg Retirement Center, Logan Nursing and Rehab Center and Access home health care for all their loving support. Memorial services will be held at noon on Friday, December 3, 2010 in the Providence 1st ward chapel 420 W 100 N with a viewing beforehand from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friends may call on Thursday evening at the Nelson Funeral home 162 E 400 N Logan, from 6 to 8 p.m. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at
