Jeffrey Mark Johnson

Jeffrey Mark Johnson was born July 2, 1991 and returned home to our loving Heavenly Father on October 29, 2017, due to medical complications. We are so blessed to have had him in our family for 26 years. Despite being born with Spina Bifida, Jeffrey was so strong and accepted his disability courageously.
Jeff graduated from Logan High School in 2010 and was currently attending Utah State University in the Aggies Elevated Program. He enjoyed working at Logan City in the Recreation Department and currently at Sportsman’s Warehouse in the Hunting Department.
Jeff had a great love for sports, especially basketball. He was a huge fan of the Utah State Aggies and the Utah Jazz.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He spent much of his time with his dad hunting big game in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming and was an excellent shot. He also enjoyed hunting waterfowl and fishing.
Jeff’s family meant the world to him and he to them. He loved his nieces more than anything and they absolutely adored him. They will miss him so much.
Jeff touched the lives of so many people during his short time here on earth. His big smile, laugh and presence was enjoyed by all.
He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents Jay Reed and Gloria Jorgensen Johnson, as well as his favorite dog, Chocolate Moose.
He is survived by Mark Leslie Johnson (Father), Shannon Eileen Ibey Johnson (Mother), Jami Lynn Johnson (Sister), Jill Johnson Timpke (Sister), Mike Timpke (Brother-in-Law), Emma Sage Timpke (Niece), Kate Adela Timpke (Niece), Jana Johnson Showalter (Sister), Eric Showalter (Brother-in-Law), Jade Showalter (Niece), Reese Showalter (Niece), Byron Donald Ibey (Maternal Grandpa) and Mildred Adela Sinerius Ibey (Maternal Grandma).
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home. A viewing is scheduled Friday, November 3, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 E 400 N, Logan, Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home. A viewing will be held prior from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Logan Cemetery immediately following the service.
