Nibley ? Ephraim Jensen Falslev, 85, passed away peacefully March 26, 2002 at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 7, 1916 in Benson, Utah, a son of Marius Jensen and Mariane Jensen Falslev. He married Edris Avern Kidman in 1936. They were later divorced. He married Thelma Rasmussen Coleman on October 22, 1970. He grew up in Benson and attended the local schools. He remained in Benson until 1970, at which time he moved to Logan. He entertained people from all over the valley, as he was part of many different singing groups. He was always ready to play his harmonica and was part of a family band. Ephraim was a hard working man all his life. He retired at the age of 82, then went on to build a Golden Corral in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He loved logging and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He fulfilled a work mission from 1964 to 1966 in South London. He held many church positions throughout his life, including chorister and dance director. He was always involved with operas and road shows and enjoyed his participation in these activities. He is survived by his wife, Thelma; his children: Ferrin J. Sheila Falslev, Logan; Kelly Coleman, Magna; Kevin Tamara Coleman, Mapelton; Kerry Karol Jean Coleman, Colorado Springs; Kim Tammy Coleman, Bountiful; Kami Steve South, Provo; Kris J. Falslev, Nibley; 23 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 30, 2002 at Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North, Logan. Friends and family may call Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Weston City Cemetery, Weston, Idaho.
